New Reinsurance Company Ltd. (NewRe) in Zurich seeks a Specialist for the Business Support Unit to manage Non-Life reinsurance accounting, treaty administration, and cash management within a collaborative, hybrid team.

The role involves supporting external audits, participating in quarterly closings, and delivering reliable financial reporting. You will develop technical knowledge of IFRS 17, reinsurance processes, and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Non-Life reinsurance accounting and related processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Manage a Non-Life reinsurance portfolio with treaty administration, technical accounting, claims handling and cash management.
• Maintain expertise in reinsurance accounting and provide reliable support to stakeholders.
• Coordinate data/documentation for external audits.
• Contribute to quarterly closure ensuring regulatory and reporting compliance.
• Support financial reporting and accuracy of financial statements.
• Provide administrative support to the BSU and team operations.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge of reinsurance business, accounting standards and regulations.
