Job summary

The Schürmatt Foundation in Aargau is seeking a Night Shift Employee to care for 15–20 clients with cognitive and physical disabilities. This 40% position requires independent night work and close collaboration with day staff.

You will monitor safety, administer medications, document in easyDOK, and respond to emergencies while upholding compassionate, respectful care. Proficiency in German and basic Office 365 skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a specialist in care or health / health and social assistant / nursing assistant with at least one year of professional experience.
• Willingness to work night shifts alone.
• Good nursing knowledge and experience in supporting and caring for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take sole responsibility during the night for the care and support of 15 – 20 clients with cognitive and physical disabilities, as well as some challenging behaviors.
• Plan and execute night shift tasks and conduct regular patrols.
• Act competently in emergency situations and adhere to safety regulations.
• Document client work in easyDOK.
• Responsible for the controlled distribution of medications.
• Work interdisciplinary with the day shift.
