Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree required: MD, PhD, or PharmD.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with Medical Affairs leadership experience.
• Strong nephrology expertise and understanding of the treatment landscape.
• Experience across affiliate and regional/global environments.
• Experience translating regional and affiliate insights into global medical strategy.
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional medical strategy and execution across the TA portfolio.
• Provide regional medical input to clinical development, evidence generation, publication planning, lifecycle management, and launch activities.
• Lead or support regional medical initiatives, including advisory boards, medical education, and scientific communications.
• Partner with affiliates and cross-functional colleagues across Medical, Commercial, CE&O, Corporate Affairs, and Value & Access to ensure a consistent medical voice.
• Identify evidence, access, and patient journey gaps and provide strategic recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Build and maintain partnerships with key medical experts, healthcare providers, affiliates, and external stakeholders.
• Support development and execution of regional medical plans aligned with Global/PDC priorities.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Operations, and Global/PDC teams to integrate regional perspectives.
• Lead regional medical training and scientific communication initiatives across affiliates.
