Job summary

Swiss Private Staff is seeking an experienced and devoted nanny to support a warm family in the Zug region. You will care for two youngest children during the week (a boy ~3 and a 15-month-old toddler) and, from January 2027, look after the toddler full-day while the older child attends international school.

Occasional weekends involve caring for all three children with a second nanny, planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and taking sole responsibility when parents are away.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience caring for babies and toddlers.
• Training in childcare (e.g. FaBe Kind) is an advantage.
• Proactive, independent and reliable with ideas for activities.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the two youngest children during the week.
• From January 2027, caring for the toddler during the day, as the older boy starts school.
• At weekends, caring for all three children with a second nanny and sharing duties.
• Independently planning age-appropriate indoor/outdoor activities and outings.
• Taking full responsibility for all three children when parents are out.

Job description

For a warm and welcoming family with three children in the Zug area, we are looking for an experienced, committed and active Nanny.

Your responsibilities

• Caring for the two youngest children (a boy, almost 3, and a toddler, 15 months) during the week
• From January 2027, caring for the toddler during the day, as the older boy will then start at an international school
• At weekends, caring for all three children together with a second nanny: splitting the children between you or doing joint activities
• Independently planning age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, outings and playground visits
• Taking full responsibility for all three children when the parents are out

Your profile

• Several years of experience caring for babies and toddlers, ideally as a nanny in private households
• Training in childcare (e.g. FaBe Kind) is an advantage
• Proactive, independent and reliable, with your own ideas for activities
• A team player, able to work closely with a second nanny
• Category B driving licence (a car is provided)
• Very good English skills

We offer

• Permanent position at 100%
• Working hours:
  From end of November to end of February: Mon–Fri 9am–4pm and Sat 2pm–7pm
  From March (expected): 2 weekdays 8am–5pm and Sat/Sun 9am–8pm
