Job summary

Rockmybaby GmbH in Luzern seeks a nanny for a 21-month-old child, starting 09.11.2026. 100% workload, 6004 Luzern (LU). Permanent, Monday to Friday. Open to live-in as well.

English speaker, non-smoker, European setting with parents working from home; experience with toddlers preferred and references required. First aid for children is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with toddlers, ideally 1–3 years old.
• References from previous families.
• First aid training for children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking the child outside daily: playgrounds, walks and parks.
• Preparing simple meals/snacks and feeding him.
• Diapering, dressing and general toddler care.
• Supporting his nap/rest routine.
• Keeping play and eating areas tidy.
• Organizing age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Helping him develop independence through play, conversation and everyday activities.

A lovely, warm family of 3 with a son who is 21 months old is moving from the US to Luzern and needs a nanny to start in November.

Hours - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week

Main responsibilities :

Taking the child outside every day: playgrounds, walks, parks, age-appropriate activitiesPreparing simple meals/snacks and feeding himDiapering, dressing and general toddler careSupporting his nap/rest routineKeeping his play and eating areas reasonably tidyOrganizing age-appropriate activities and outingsHelping him develop independence through play, conversation and everyday activitiesLight housekeeping for the child
