MSAT Project Manager
Location: Canton of Jura, Switzerland
Our client is a growing international pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced MSAT Project Manager to join their team in the Jura region of Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in process transfer, new product introduction and manufacturing excellence projects within a GMP-regulated environment.
The Opportunity
As MSAT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects related to:
- Process transfers
- New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Process Performance Qualification (PPQ)
- Process improvements and change control initiatives
You will serve as the primary interface between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional MSAT projects from initiation through to completion.
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, governance structures and timelines.
- Coordinate process transfer, validation, documentation and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and relevant ICH guidelines.
- Manage project risks, deviations, CAPAs and change controls using a risk-based approach.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project resources, timelines and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support standardisation of MSAT processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring delivery against contractual commitments.
Requirements
Education
- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Proven background in MSAT, process development, process engineering or GMP project management.
- Experience supporting process transfers and process validation activities.
- Experience within aseptic manufacturing or fill-finish operations would be highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations, process transfers, change control, deviations and CAPA management.
- Working knowledge of ICH guidelines.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with eQMS, LIMS, MES and ERP systems.

- Comfortable leading teams in a matrix environment.
Languages
- Fluent French is essential.
- Professional English (C1 level or above).
