K-Recruiting GmbH is seeking a Method Developer for Service Medical Devices in Basel, Switzerland. The role focuses on designing complex fixtures in SolidWorks, creating animations and virtual assemblies, and developing surrogate devices to validate test methods.

You will perform advanced statistical analyses with Minitab, script with ZIMT for TestXpert III, and apply AI-driven coding for automation. English proficiency is essential, and the project runs 12 months with a 5‑day work week in Basel.

Formación

• Expert on SolidWorks software to design complex fixtures for lab test equipment.
• Expert on SolidWorks animations and virtual assemblies modeling active fixture systems with multiple interacting components.
• Experience designing surrogate devices and optimizing them.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical data analysis with Minitab.
• Expert in programming ZIMT scripts for TestXpert III usage.
• Highly motivated with ability to handle high workload delivering high quality.
• English-speaking with excellent verbal and written skills; NRV, SolidsWorks, TestXpert III, 1-QEM preferable; European working hours preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Designs complex fixture sets in SolidWorks to support development, improvement and enhancement of laboratory test methods.
• Develops SolidWorks animations and virtual assemblies to model active fixture systems for team evaluation before manufacturing.
• Designs, manufactures and tests surrogate devices to facilitate validation of test methods.
• Performs statistical data analysis using Minitab to assess readiness for test method validation and support method-development activities.
• Liaises with Supplier (ZwickRoell GmbH) to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions during troubleshooting.
• Develops and applies mathematical and statistical approaches for investigation of signal-processing parameters and improving measurement system performance.
• Creates advanced ZIMT scripts to implement functionality and automation beyond current TestXpert HMI capabilities.
• Ongoing use of AI to enhance projects requiring coding (e.g., Arduino driven electronic surrogates).
