Job summary

Aequor Consulting GmbH in Basel seeks an experienced Method Developer for Medical Device R&D to advance laboratory test methods and design sophisticated testing fixtures. You will contribute to measurement system improvements and model complex fixture cycles using SolidWorks animations and virtual assemblies.

You will apply statistical analysis with Minitab, develop surrogate devices for validation, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve root causes.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in SolidWorks and fixtures for lab testing and method development.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks animations and virtual assemblies for active fixtures.
• Experience designing, developing and optimizing surrogate devices.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis with Minitab.
• Expert-level skills in ZIMT scripting for TestXpert III.
• Strong problem-solving with analytical mindset.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Design complex fixtures using SolidWorks to support method development.
• Create SolidWorks animations and virtual assemblies to simulate fixture cycles.
• Design, manufacture and test surrogate devices for validation of methods.
• Perform statistical analysis with Minitab to support method development.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop mathematical approaches to improve measurement system performance.
• Create ZIMT scripts to extend TestXpert HMI functionality.
• Apply AI methods to accelerate development with programming tasks.
