Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a part-time Field Service Engineer to install, test and commission automated medication dispensing systems across multiple facilities in Switzerland. The role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals and engineers to configure hardware, software, and mechanical components.

The position emphasizes travel within local, regional, and national scopes, with per-diem assignments and paid training.

Qualifications

• Matura Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and German is required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; all tasks revolve around installing and configuring hardware, software and mechanical medical devices.
• Review of schematics / drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid.
• Per-diem, assignment-based position requiring travel and open flexibility.
