Zusammenfassung

ARTIDIS AG in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a Test and Verification Engineer to ensure reliable operation and regulatory compliance of our medical devices. You will plan and execute software verification testing, support software requirements engineering, and resolve anomalies through in-depth analysis.

You will collaborate daily with software, mechatronics, validation, and backend teams, and help establish test procedures for manual and automated testing, including AI-based processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent.
• +3 years of experience in medical device development or other regulated industry.
• Experience with complex hardware (robotic systems, embedded devices).
• Experience in C/C++, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, IoT device management and/or DevOps.
• Strong Python scripting and use of LLMs for code creation, automated review, and documentation.
• Strong software troubleshooting, analysis and debugging.

Aufgaben

• Create and review software test and validation protocols based on software requirements, change records, and software anomaly reports.
• Conduct software verification testing, regression testing and system testing, and establish auditable records of results.
• Establish test strategies and new software testing processes.
• Design, implement and validate script-based automated testing processes.
• Drive integration of AI-based review- and test-processes into software development workflows.
• Maintain change records and software traceability matrices mapping tests to requirements.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure software changes adhere to industry regulations (FDA guidelines).
• Generate technical reports, software release documentation, and compliance records.
• Support development projects from concept to verification completion within the Medical Device Software Team.
• Provide insights on software performance and user experience.
