Job summary

Big Science Sweden is seeking an individual in Switzerland to maintain the ISOLDE facility beam instrumentation, assemble new spare instruments, and manage the spare parts stock.

Applicants should have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience and a general secondary education diploma or shorter non-university degree. Prior fellows or graduates of CERN cannot apply.

Qualifications

• Maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field.
• Cannot hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD.
• Must not have been a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.

• Maintain the ISOLDE facility beam instrumentation.

In this position, you will maintain the ISOLDE facility beam instrumentation, assemble new spare instruments, manage the spare parts stock, procure spare part components, and manage the manufacturing drawings and 3D model database.
