Comet AG in Flamatt, Switzerland, is seeking a Mechanical Team Lead (80-100%) to guide a team of mechanical engineers responsible for RF power products used in semiconductor plasma processing. You will drive the mechanical architecture and ensure performance, manufacturability, reliability and compliance.

You will coordinate development across projects, lead root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams (Electrical, RF, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management), and continuously improve

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience in technical leadership in a high-tech environment.
• Strong expertise in thermal management, structural analysis, vibration, reliability, DFM/DFA.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and PLM systems; semiconductor equipment, RF systems, vacuum tech or HV experience is an advantage.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of mechanical engineers for RF power products.
• Drive the mechanical architecture and design ensuring performance, manufacturability, reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate mechanical development across projects with milestones, deliverables, risk assessments and FMEAs.
• Lead technical problem-solving with cross-functional teams (Electrical, RF, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management).
• Continuously improve engineering processes, design methodologies, testing, and team capabilities; contribute to roadmaps.
