ANAVIA in Switzerland is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and integrate unmanned helicopter structures. You will engage in design, analysis, prototyping and cross-disciplinary collaboration to advance cutting-edge VTOL systems.

We value hands-on experience with 3D CAD, composite structures and PLM workflows, plus strong communication in English. German language and Swiss work permit holder status are desirable assets for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience, strong junior candidates considered.
• Experience in aerospace, aircraft, helicopters, and/or UAVs is preferred.
• Experience designing structural parts, assemblies or mechanical installations for aircraft.
• Strong 3D CAD experience; Siemens NX or CATIA required.
• Experience with a PLM/PDM system such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA or Windchill preferred.
• Understanding of GD&T, drawings, tolerances and manufacturing definition.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in English; German desirable.

Aufgaben

• Aircraft Structural Design: design primary/secondary structures, assemblies and installations for unmanned helicopter platforms.
• 3D CAD and DMU Integration: create/modify 3D parts within the DMU, considering interfaces and manufacturing constraints.
• Geometry and Surface Design: develop components with complex geometry using CAD (Siemens NX or CATIA).
• Composite Design: apply knowledge of composites, laminate construction and weight optimisation.
• Engineering Drawings and Product Definition: create and maintain DFM drawings and BOMs per standards.
• Product Structure and PLM: maintain engineering product structures and BOMs within PLM.
• Configuration and Change Management: support change requests and traceability of modifications.
• PLM Workflow and Data Management: work within PLM systems with release processes.
• Aircraft Systems Integration: mechanical integration of aircraft systems and equipment.
• Design for Manufacturing and Assembly: consider manufacturing, tolerances and cost.
