A family in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UK & European-trained Maternity Nurse for a long-term family placement.
After the newborn months, the family would like you to stay on as the household's nurse.
Each summer the family moves to their house in the Cotswolds, and you travel with them as part of the household.
Your role will shift gently from newborn care to wider family nursing over time.
Requirements
You are a registered nurse or midwife from the UK or Europe.
You bring 5+ years of nursing since registration, across maternity and paediatric work.
Experience caring for newborns and young families is essential.
English is fluent and you enjoy long-term family roles.
You hold an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate.
Salary is gross, from €5,000 a month.
The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
Your private room within the family's residence, meals and flights are covered by the family.
Rest days and annual leave are agreed in your contract.
Over the years you remain employed by the family, under a contract signed with them.
Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care.
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
