Job summary

CTC Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Market Access Excellence Director for a Basel-based role on a 12-month contract. You will lead IV&A data management, analytics, and performance across international markets, ensuring data integrity, KPI-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

You will build KPI frameworks, govern data standards, manage budgets, and collaborate with HEOR, Pricing, and Finance to align priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Value & Access, Operational Excellence, or Access Operations.
• 2+ years of international/regional experience in access or operational excellence.
• Proven track record in building KPI frameworks, governance processes, and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of access data, systems, and governance models.
• Experience in budget management and matrixed global environments.

Responsibilities

• Own IV&A governance, book of work, and decision-support systems.
• Define and maintain enterprise access KPI frameworks, data standards, and quality control measures.
• Partner with IT, analytics, and markets to enable seamless data flows and adoption.
• Lead annual budgeting, spend tracking, and investment trade-offs aligned with strategic priorities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation in a matrixed global environment.
• Strengthen IV&A governance and operational excellence across pre-launch, launch, post-launch, and LoE.
• Drive data-driven decision-making using KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
• Ensure one source of access data and robust knowledge management platforms.
• Lead budget management, cost tracking, and business case development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HEOR, Pricing, TA Access, Finance) to align priorities and resources.
• Uphold ethics, compliance, and risk management in alignment with company policies.

Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. They are undergoing a transformation with respect to culture and outside perception. The organisation focuses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.

For their Basel office, we are looking for a:

Market Access Excellence Director

on a 12-month contract, based in Basel.

In this role, you will lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence for IV&A (Integrated Value & Access) data management, analytics, and performance across international markets. This role ensures high data integrity, KPI-driven decision-making, and predictable access outcomes while driving continuous improvement and budget stewardship.

Your Profile:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
• 8+ years in Value & Access, Operational Excellence, or Access Operations roles.
• 2+ years of international/regional experience in access or operational excellence.
• Proven track record in building KPI frameworks, governance processes, and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of access data, systems, and governance models.
• Experience in budget management and matrixed global environments.
• 7+ years in Value & Access with Access Operations experience.
• MBA, Ph.D., M.D., or RPh (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in international/regional markets.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
