Job summary

EY in Zurich seeks a tax accounting professional to support direct tax accounting and audits for international clients. You will be part of a dynamic Primary Team, handling complex tax issues and BEPS2.0 projects. The role involves leadership in established accounts and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in tax accounting and/or tax audit, ideally gained in a big4 or professional services firm, within an international environment.
• Sound knowledge of general and tax accounting principles as well as reporting concepts/principles (temporary/permanent differences, current and deferred taxes).
• Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and/or IFRS tax accounting.
• Hands-on experience with tax audit procedures for multinational companies, including their design, execution, and oversight.
• Designing, performing, and overseeing tax audit procedures for HQ Multinationals as part of a Primary Team.
• Ability to analyze complex transactions and assess their tax accounting implications, with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact and liaise with national and international clients and colleagues regarding direct tax accounting issues.
• Participate as part of the Primary Team in tax audits of International Groups and single legal entities in Switzerland.
• Contribute knowledge to BEPS2.0 projects.
• Lead clients on established accounts, seek process improvement opportunities in EY and client processes, and implement services for new clients.
• Manage account resourcing, budget, and delivery.
• Develop and coach the team involving the global EY-Shared-Service-Center structures.
