Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to own and drive Operational Excellence for the EMEA Systems (Controls) business.

You will define standards, deploy capabilities, and drive best practices to support growth and market needs. You will partner with regional and country leaders to improve end-to-end operations, deliver revenue growth, improve margins, cash performance, and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of leadership experience in Operations, Operational Excellence, Project Management, or related engineering environment.
• Engineering degree required; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong project management and change management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization and influence diverse stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Own and drive Operational Excellence for the EMEA Systems (Controls) business, defining and deploying standards and best practices.
• Partner with Regional and Country Systems Leaders to enhance end-to-end operations and drive growth, margin, and cash improvements.
• Act as operational champion driving standardized processes, tools, and change initiatives across the business.
• Lead OPEx initiatives to improve productivity, customer experience, and satisfaction through standardization.
• Drive continuous Improvement across delivery operations focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance.
• Develop and implement performance programs to increase profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics, identify trends and risks, ensure corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Service, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, L&D, and others to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Drive self-service analytics, process automation, and AI-enabled insights to improve decisions and performance.
• Own key operational and financial metrics, improving backlog conversion, governance, and execution across the region.

What You Will Do

• Own and drive Operational Excellence for the EMEA Systems (Controls) business, defining and deploying standards, capabilities, and best practices that support business growth and market needs.
• Partner with Regional and Country Systems Leaders to enhance end-to-end operations, delivering revenue growth, margin improvement, cash performance, risk management, and project execution excellence.
• Act as the operational champion and subject matter expert, driving adoption of standardized processes, tools, and change management initiatives across the business.

How You Will Do It

• Lead Operational Excellence initiatives that improve business productivity, customer experience, and customer satisfaction through process, tool, and reporting standardization.
• Drive continuous improvement across Systems delivery operations, focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance.
• Develop and implement performance improvement and process standardization programs to increase profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and business metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Manage risk and escalation processes on major projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment and effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead lessons learned, auditing, compliance, and governance processes to promote best practices and improve execution performance.
• Collaborate closely with Service, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, L&D, and other functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics, process automation, and AI-enabled operational insights to improve decision-making and operational performance.
• Own key operational and financial metrics, improving backlog conversion, project governance, and execution rigor across the region.
