Job summary

mylife Diabetes Care in Switzerland is seeking a Manager Technical Laboratory to lead and develop its measurement and testing team, ensuring robust methods and processes throughout the product lifecycle.

You will coordinate activities, manage resources and budget, maintain high quality documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to address technical challenges and ensure compliant, reliable testing for medical devices.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in a technical/ physical laboratory or related industrial environment.
• Strong technical understanding and an interest in measurement and testing.
• Experience coordinating work, resources, projects and stakeholders; people-management is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage; able to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience in regulated or medical technology environments is an advantage.

• Lead the team and support its development

• Work with other teams and stakeholders to coordinate activities and make effective use of expertise across the organisation
• Establish and maintain relationships with external testing and measurement laboratories when needed

Your profile

• Relevant technical education, such as vocational training or a university degree; further education in a relevant field is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a technical/ physical laboratory or a related industrial environment
• Strong technical understanding and an interest in measurement and testing
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions
• Experience coordinating work, resources, projects and stakeholders; previous people-management experience is an advantage
• Clear communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to different stakeholders
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
• Experience in a regulated or medical technology environment is an advantage
