Zusammenfassung

IATA Consulting seeks a MacroEconomist to provide economic research and macro-economic analysis for global aviation markets. The role reports to the Assistant Director, Industry Analysis in the Sustainability and Economics Division.

You will deliver economic research, work with regional offices and country markets, and contribute to publications and stakeholder engagements. Strong econometrics and fluent English are essential; other languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Post-graduate degree in Economics; PhD an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in research and analysis.
• Experience in drafting applied analytical publications would be an advantage.
• Advanced econometrics and statistical analysis skills.
• Fluent English; other languages an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Provide economic research and macro-economic analysis at global, regional, and country levels as they pertain to air transport.
• Coordinate this work across geographies, including IATA’s regional offices and core country markets.
• Coordinate research efforts and integrate contributions from regional colleagues in publications for the division.
• Conduct parts of the research independently, with responsibilities for outputs and publications.
• Produce reports/publications, manage stakeholders, and participate in internal/external meetings and conferences.
• Collaborate across the team, division, and IATA to support policy and industry insights.
