Deloitte in Zurich seeks an experienced M&A professional to drive value creation through due diligence and deal insights. You will work with management, private equity and advisory colleagues to shape operational due diligence and realisation opportunities.

The role focuses on revenue growth, cost reduction, and synergy identification across cross-functional teams, with an emphasis on practical outcomes and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering.
• At least five years in M&A with focus on due diligence.
• Deep experience in operational due diligence and synergy identification.
• Fluency in English; German (Swiss German desirable).

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day delivery of M&A value creation and pre-deal due diligence engagements.
• Lead project teams to conduct due diligence, analyses and baselining and ensure quality deliverables.
• Help clients understand operational capabilities of targets and portfolios.
• Assess potential merger synergies and standalone performance implications.
• Structure and lead client interviews with senior stakeholders.
• Synthesize information into clear value-creation hypotheses for clients.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and quality with Partners and Senior Managers.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to proposals and business development.
