The ideal candidate will possess an associate's degree (or equivalent education) and has experience working with disabled children.
The successful candidate has the ability to safely work with escalated students who may hit, kick, bite and scratch during crisis intervention prevention.Essential functions of the position include the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and/or push/pull up to 100 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Current entry level salary range is $16.10-$19.63 per hour depending on education level and applicable relevant work experience as determined by the District and includes a comprehensive benefit package including but not limited to paid sick and vacation leave, 3 paid personal days, 9 paid Holidays, up to 13 paid school calendar related days, health benefits with coverage during the summer break and retirement.
