Zusammenfassung

APCO Technologies SA in Vaud, Switzerland, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead a 7-engineer team in space hardware. You will ensure ECSS compliance and perform extensive mechanical analyses on metallic and composite structures.

You have a Master’s degree (EPF) and at least 10 years of flight equipment experience, with fluency in English and French, strong organizational skills, and the ability to defend technical solutions to customers.

Qualifikationen

• Master degree in engineering (EPF) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' experience on flight equipment.
• Skilled in static, modal, frequency, shock, vibro-acoustic, thermal and thermo-elastic analyses for metals and CFRP.
• Nastran experience; FEMAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong organization, autonomy, efficiency and drive.
• Analytical and critical thinking.

Aufgaben

• Manage and animate a team of 7 engineers.
• Maintain the competences of the team and stay aware of new technics and developments.
• Establish the budgets of the department.
• Analyse customers’ specifications.
• Justify and optimize structures’ design following ECSS standards across environments: static, dynamic, thermal, etc.
• Make the technical documents of all the projects’ phases including for vibration and acoustic tests.
• Attend the meeting internally and with customers.
