Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher / project lead in a cross-border VR project hosted jointly with TUM. You will shape the research agenda, supervise two PhD researchers, and coordinate studies across sites to produce high-impact papers.

We seek candidates with a PhD in HCI/psychology or related fields, a strong publication record, and expertise in VR experiments, quantitative methods, and toolkits like Unity or Unreal. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in human–computer interaction, psychology, information systems, or related field.
• Strong track record of publishing in international journals.
• Experience in VR research and perception in immersive environments.
• Strong quantitative skills and experience with ML or advanced methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with VR toolkits (Unity/Unreal) is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Lead and co-author rigorous research to publish in top journals.
• Design, coordinate, and analyze VR experiments across ETH Zurich and TUM.
• Mentor two doctoral researchers and align their work with the joint agenda.
• Collaborate with international co-authors and industry partners; present at conferences.
• Contribute to ongoing follow-on grant opportunities.
