Job summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver tailored mechanical solutions for VIP completions and government projects. You will work on highly customized interiors and systems, contributing across maintenance, completion, and governmental initiatives.

The role emphasizes technical ownership, collaboration with suppliers, and adherence to aviation standards. English fluency is essential, with German or French an asset in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in VIP Engineering mechanical domains, with leadership or coordination exposure.
Strong proficiency with CAE and CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Siemens NX, TeamCenter, and Microsoft Office.
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering processes, and interface management.

Responsibilities

Support project delivery with technical ownership across Maintenance, Completion, and Governmental projects from quotation to delivery.
Capture technical baselines via data collection, surveys, photos, and 3D scans; maintain drawings and models.
Develop mechanical design concepts for ATA bodies during upfront phase and ensure manufacturability.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure robust, compliant solutions and timely project milestones.
Participate in tests, reports, and certification activities to support validation and compliance.
