BOBST MEX SA in Lausanne is seeking a Senior Writing Systems Engineer to shape next‑generation industrial inkjet printing systems. You will own performance across printheads, fluidics, electronics, and software to deliver robust production performance in real customer environments.

You will drive system architectures, run DOE experiments, develop models, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align technical outcomes with production constraints.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Physics, Electronics, Fluidics, Materials Science, Print Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial inkjet, drop-on-demand (DoD), printing, coating, or fluid deposition technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial inkjet writing systems, printheads, waveform optimization, image quality, fluid behavior, or writing system integration.
• Experience in system-level design, integration, and optimization of multidisciplinary industrial systems.
• Experience working in industrial production and application environments with strong reliability and uptime constraints.
• Strong analytical and experimental background, including DOE, root‑cause analysis, modeling, and data‑driven engineering approaches.

Aufgaben

• Drive the design and optimization of industrial inkjet writing system architectures.
• Own complex systems end-to-end from concept to product launch.
• Experiment, model, and optimize using physical and empirical methods.
• Lead root‑cause analysis on complex multi‑disciplinary issues.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, mechanics, chemistry, and manufacturing teams.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge to elevate the team.
