Job summary

Flink Robotics is a Zurich-based startup building autonomous robots for material handling, from packaging to sorting and unloading. We are seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Software Engineer to own deployment, debugging and adaptation of our autonomy stack at customer sites.

You will travel about 50% of the time, leading a team, diagnosing complex system issues, and collaborating with customers and product teams to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience deploying C++ code in production.
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
• Proactive, clear communicator with growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Optimize robot performance after installation and ensure smooth customer handover.
• Quality control and deploy incremental and major software upgrades across robot fleet.
• Define and own the remote supervision process.
• Guide and filter feedback from customers to the product teams.
• Build out and manage the forward deployed software engineering team.
