SAEKI in Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a Computational Geometry Engineer to own the geometry core of our Manufacturing Intelligence stack—the engine that turns customer CAD models into build plans and proves that we built it right.

You will work with modern C++ (17+), Python, and mesh/point-cloud processing in a startup-like setting, delivering end-to-end geometry services from concept to shipped, tested tooling on real factory hardware.

Competenze

• 5+ years building geometry-heavy software in production (CAD/CAM, geometry kernels, metrology, etc).
• B-rep and Mesh Depth: topology, NURBS, feature recognition, defeaturing, robust booleans.
• Kernel Fluency with Parasolid/OpenCASCADE/ACIS, decide what to build vs. integrate.
• Technical Excellence: strong C++17+ and Python; rust welcome.
• Manufacturing Instinct: knowledge of casting, stamping, composites, additive manufacturing; manufacturability and cost.
• End-to-End Ownership: algorithm design to shipped service.
• First Principles Thinker: physics/mathematics-based reasoning.
• Industrial Grit: work at the machine and iterate quickly.
• Maniacal Urgency: thrive in chaos-to-order startup frame.
