Job summary

SAEKI Robotics is hiring a Junior Computational Geometry Engineer to work on the geometry core of the Manufacturing Intelligence stack. You’ll start on well-scoped components next to the engineers who built them and grow into ownership as you prove the built parts correct in real factory settings.

You will implement geometry algorithms, reason about CAD models, and ship features that run on real hardware, with a direct connection between code and the manufacturing world.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, mechanical engineering or a related field with depth in geometry, linear algebra and numerics.
• Comfortable with topology, NURBS, meshes and point clouds; understands floating-point robustness issues.
• Experience with a geometry kernel and mesh libraries like OpenCASCADE, CGAL, libigl, Open3D, PCL, Parasolid.
• Strong C++ (17+) and Python for tooling; Rust is welcome.
• Interest in how geometry meets manufacturing machinery (CNC, metrology) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the geometry core of the Manufacturing Intelligence stack.
• Work on engine components that reason about how to build CAD models and verify correctness.
• Collaborate with engineers to ship robust, readable, maintainable code.
