Zusammenfassung

ABB Switzerland is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute medium-to-high complexity Distributed Control System projects in the energy sector. You will lead engineering activities, coordinate project engineers and external suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery with safety and quality in mind.

You should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical or mechanical engineering, 3–5 years in large-scale automation, and strong German and English communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years engineering/commissioning experience in large process automation projects.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale DCS/automation including ABB 800xA / 800M.
• Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate with customers and suppliers.
• Experience with functional safety requirements is a plus.
• Strong German and English written and spoken communication.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coordinate and coach project engineers and external suppliers for medium-to-high complexity DCS projects.
• Work closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and improvements.
• Assist project managers with scope control, risk assessment and cost deliverables for sales proposals.
• Develop and review standard processes, tools, and safety-compliant practices.
