Zusammenfassung

Ekkiden is seeking a Test Engineer to lead components and sub-systems testing for free space optical communication architectures. You will perform in cleanroom and field tests, mount setups, and generate compliance-focused reports while supporting system integration and proof-of-concept work.

You will work in Lausanne on-site, with opportunities to progress to a permanent position after probation, contributing to diverse projects and a high-standard training culture.

Qualifikationen

• MS in Engineering.
• Interest in satcom, lasers, optomechanics, mechatronics, Python, cleanroom tests, optical/RF instrumentation.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent English, strong writing and speaking.
• Swiss or EU citizenship.
• Based in Lausanne, on-site; permanent position after probation.

Aufgaben

• Execute pre-defined test campaigns in the cleanroom and/or on field, focused on components and sub-systems.
• Mount test setups and operate advanced equipment and instrumentation (optics, optomechanics, telescopes, RF, HW/SW).
• Write test reports and validate components/sub-systems against a compliance matrix (internal requirements, vendor/partner datasheets, etc.).
• Support sub-system integration and cleanroom maintenance.
• Support formal and informal reviews.
• Support proof-of-concept work.
