Job summary

SIX Group Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Kubernetes platform engineer to drive and evolve our cloud-native Kubernetes platforms across on‑premises and public cloud environments.

You will operate, automate, and scale platforms while collaborating with a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced financial tech setting. You will join a hybrid setup based in Zürich with up to 40% remote work from abroad, contributing to global infrastructure supporting payment systems and stock exchange

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in public or private cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with AAP, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus, and Elastic.
• Experience in Kubernetes platform engineering, operations, or related infrastructure roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift & AKS), focusing on automation, security, connectivity, and observability.
• Operate and support Kubernetes environments, including customer requests and on-call troubleshooting.
• Contribute to company-wide projects as a Kubernetes and cloud-native technology expert.
• Drive platform automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Share knowledge and promote best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities.

Join our Container Platforms team in Spain and Switzerland, where you'll help drive and innovate global Kubernetes platforms across on-premises and public cloud environments. Working in a collaborative and agile team, you will support critical financial infrastructure, including payment systems, interbank clearing and stock exchange services. Your work will directly contribute to systems relied upon by millions of people every day while leveraging the latest technologies.

What You Will Do

• Experience in Kubernetes platform engineering, operations, or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with fluent English; German or Spanish is an advantage.
