Zusammenfassung

Amgen in Switzerland is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead end-to-end key account partnerships for the portfolio within the VA&P team. You will drive value-based strategies and support hospital procurement across Swiss accounts.

You will negotiate pricing and contracts, gather market insights, and coordinate with sales reps to optimize customer engagement and product launches. Fluency in German and English is required, French a plus.

Qualifikationen

  • Completed business, medical or scientific education.
  • Several years of experience as sales representative or in key account management in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Good understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, particularly hospital landscape and procurement structures.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, and hospital funding mechanisms.
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is an advantage.

What you will do

Let’s do this. In this vital role as Key Account Manager, you will be part of the Value, Access & Policy (VA&P) Team and report to the Head of Key Account Management. You will take primary responsibility for end-to-end key account partnerships for the entire Amgen portfolio, contribute to create strong awareness of the value beyond price and create an optimal business environment for Amgen in key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and establish long-term customer relationships
  • Develop, implement and update strategic account plans for assigned accounts and identify account-development opportunities
  • Prepare and lead annual discussions as well as price & contract negotiations within defined pricing strategy and guardrails
  • Create strong awareness of the value beyond price for our entire portfolio
  • Continuously gather and assess insights on product evaluations, volumes, customer needs, competitive activity for key accounts to feed into adaption of strategy and commercial actions across the Amgen portfolio
  • Support innovative product launches with hospital pharmacists and purchasers/wholesalers
  • Communicate relevant healthcare policy, regulatory and reimbursement developments in a clear and customer-relevant manner
  • Partner with sales representatives for customer insight and planning activities
  • Help to organize congresses and other external events in collaboration with the ACCP
