Job summary

RIVR Technologies AG, part of Amazon, seeks a Junior Electronics Engineer to lead design, development, and testing of our robotics’ custom electronics. You will handle motor control power electronics, digital PCBA design, firmware, and communication protocols to enable scalable, cost-effective mass production.

Requirements include 2+ years in industry or research, PCB design and firmware experience, proficiency with Altium/Eagle/KiCad and SPICE, and knowledge of control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industry or research experience.
• Experience in PCB design and firmware development.
• Proficient in PCB design software (Altium, Eagle, KiCad) and SPICE.
• Skilled in using electronics instrumentation for debugging (oscilloscope, power analyzer).
• Knowledge of control systems and robotics electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot custom electronic prototypes (PCB, wiring, sensors, actuators, power systems).
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and embedded system engineers to integrate hardware with software.
• Perform rigorous testing to verify reliability, durability and safety of robotic hardware.
• Create detailed documentation: specifications, assembly instructions and testing protocols.
• Create and maintain guidelines to streamline knowledge sharing.
• Improve design standards and processes via design reviews.
