Qualifications

• Completed master's degree in economics, political science, or other quantitative social science.
• Genuine interest in policy-relevant questions in taxation and public economics.
• Solid foundations in causal inference methods (DiD, IV, RCTs).
• Proficiency in Stata and/or R; data cleaning/management experience is a plus.
• Good written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage linked micro-level datasets, perform quality checks.
• Conduct descriptive analyses of administrative and survey data.
• Run guided empirical analyses using causal inference methods.
• Prepare slides and research materials; assist in organizing an academic workshop.
