Job summary

Everest Group is seeking a Reinsurance Underwriting Assistant I in Zurich. You will support underwriting teams, handle data, assist with renewals, and contribute to client reviews, with opportunities to learn from actuaries and claims professionals.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates, fluent in English, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work in our Zurich office at least three days per week. French or German language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or an insurance qualification is required.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German skills are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in Zurich office, 3 days a week minimum.
• Strong analytical, technical and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting support and analysis for the underwriting teams.
• Prepare for client visits and market reviews.
• Assist with data preparation, treaty analysis and portfolio reviews.
• Support on renewals, data entry and documentation checks.
• Produce management reports and assist on ad hoc analyses.
