Harmattan AI in Lausanne seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, and integrate quadcopter airframe hardware for mission-critical environments.

You will model production-ready parts in SolidWorks, perform rapid prototyping, validate designs on the bench, and produce 2D drawings and BOMs for manufacturing. Collaborate with Electrical, Aerodynamics, and Production teams to keep builds fast and robust.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace or related field.
• 0–3 years hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or robotics.
• SolidWorks CAD with parametric assembly design.
• Understanding of manufacturing constraints (tolerances, drafting) for CNC and 3D printing.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Component CAD Modeling: design and update 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Electromechanical Packaging: fit PCBs, sensors, and wiring into airframes.
• Rapid Prototyping & Bench Testing: validate designs with on-site tests.
• DFM & Production Documentation: create 2D drawings and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Cross-Functional Execution: collaborate with Electrical, Aerodynamics, Industrialisation, and Supply Chain.
