Zusammenfassung

The Electrical Design Technician role at CERN joins the EN-EL-DDO to support electrical design and documentation for the accelerator complex. You will work on low voltage distribution networks, cable sizing, LV protection studies, and template maintenance, with growth toward more advanced design tasks.

This onsite position offers a 24‑month contract, potential extension, 30 days of annual leave, comprehensive health insurance, a CERN pension, relocation support, and training opportunities

Qualifikationen

By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
Experience with low voltage distribution design and cable sizing is expected.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software and Excel is required.

Aufgaben

Prepare calculation notes using ElecCalc/Caneco BT or similar.
Prepare bills of material and cabling tables in Excel.
Update design templates and maintain quality in the design office.
