Job summary

ITech Consult AG is seeking an experienced software professional to develop and operate a modern document management platform in Zurich. You’ll own Java-based Spring Boot microservices end-to-end and contribute to the platform's technical development.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of software development and/or DevOps experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, Node.js and REST APIs.
• Experience with XML/JSON, relational databases and JPA/Hibernate.
• Safe handling of Linux and shell.
• Knowledge of Clean Code, Design Patterns, Testing and Code Reviews.
• Basic knowledge of software security.
• Analytical, structured and team-oriented work style.
• Nice-to-have: Kubernetes, Cloud/On-Premises, CI/CD, Monitoring and Deployment Automation.

Responsibilities

• Development, enhancement and operation of microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• End-to-end development process from conception to deployment.
• Development and maintenance of web apps with Angular and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with business engineering, departments and sales.
• Design and development of APIs, interfaces and integrations.
• Ensure stability, performance and security during operation, including monitoring, logging and incident management.
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, refactoring, and automated testing.
• Continuously optimize the platform, via automation, self-services and API-first approaches.
