Interactive Brokers is seeking a skilled Java developer for back-end emphasis with potential front-end tasks. Based in the Zug area, you will work on high-quality software engineering for a leading global trading platform.

You will design and deliver robust solutions, own development tasks end-to-end, collaborate with multiple teams, and ensure code quality and performance across client-facing and back-end systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in at least one scripting language.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that conform to architectural standards.
• Managing and owning significant development tasks end-to-end from requirements to production support.
• Collaborating with other development teams to roll out changes and applications.
• Developing technology solutions to extend IBKR’s client-facing and back-end applications.
• Reviewing code changes for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Refactoring existing code for reliability and performance.
• Writing and maintaining design and engineering documentation.
• Testing, tuning, and deploying new software features.
• Maintaining production configurations and providing technical support.
