Job summary

EM Microelectronic-Marin Ltd, part of The Swatch Group, seeks an IT/OT Systems Team Leader to secure and optimize manufacturing and business information systems. You will lead the Systems Applications and Field Services teams, driving automation, DevOps practices and robust incident response.

• Master or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Systems Administration / IT Operations.
• Experience supporting business-critical systems in a high-availability environment.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration experience.
• Experience with enterprise apps, middleware and database platforms.
• Networking, virtualization and cloud technologies knowledge.
• Experience with Docker, containerization and modern deployment practices.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

In order to reinforce our IT Team, we are recruiting an

IT/OT Systems Team Leader

Mission :

Ensure the reliability, security, support and continuous improvement of business-critical and manufacturing-critical information systems across the company.

Act as a senior technical expert, providing hands-on administration, support and evolution of applications, systems and platforms supporting both business and manufacturing activities.

Contribute to the modernization of the company's technology landscape through automation, DevOps practices and containerization technologies.

Coordinate the daily activities of the Systems, Applications team and the Field Services team, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

This position is primarily technical in nature, with approximately 80% of the workload dedicated to technical activities and up to 20% dedicated to team coordination and operational leadership.

Tasks & responsibilites :

• Lead and coordinate the Systems Applications team and the Field Services team
• Ensure reliable, secure and efficient operation of business-critical and manufacturing-critical systems and applications
• Provide technical expertise across Windows, Linux, applications and operational technology environments
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents
• Coordinate operational activities with Swatch Group infrastructure teams, external partners and vendors
• Drive automation, containerization and modern application deployment practices, including Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer and cross-training to strengthen operational resilience and reduce dependency on key individuals
• Participate in ICT projects and support the continuous improvement of systems, services and processes
• Contribute to cybersecurity, business continuity and compliance initiatives.

Profile ##

• Master-s degree or HES degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Ability to lead and develop team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and operational excellenceMinimum 7 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure, IT Operations, Application Management or Industrial IT environments.
• Proven experience supporting business-critical systems in a demanding and highly available environment.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience with enterprise applications, middleware and database platforms.
• Good understanding of networking, virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with centralized infrastructure organizations, shared service centers and external service providers.
• Experience with Docker, containerization technologies and modern application deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business functions.

Professional requirements ##

• Leadership or people management training is a plus.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, MCSA, or similar (a plus).
• Knowledge of MES, manufacturing applications or production environments
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial IT or Operational Technology environments is considered a strong advantage
