Job summary

CERN invites students currently pursuing post-secondary studies in computer science or information technology to join our Information Technologies team for a Short Term Internship in 2027. This onsite program offers hands-on exposure to real projects, learning opportunities, and collaboration in an international environment in Geneva.

Interns will work under supervision, gain experience through practical tasks, and contribute to team activities while developing technical and professional skills

Qualifications

Currently studying computer science, IT, or a related field.
You are required or encouraged by your university to complete a practical training period.
You are eager to develop your skills through on-the-job learning.
You enjoy teamwork and learning from others in a collaborative setting.
Fundamental knowledge in your field of study.
Curiosity, precision and a proactive attitude towards learning.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

Support experienced professionals in their daily activities.
Learn and apply new tools or methods relevant to your area of study.
Contribute to small-scale projects under the guidance of your supervisor.
Collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and share ideas in an international environment.

Education
