Job summary

UBP - Union Bancaire Privée is seeking an IT business analyst and project manager for critical legal reporting applications in Switzerland. The role involves analyzing regulations, defining requirements, managing vendor relationships, and guiding IT delivery teams.

You will report to the Team Lead of IT Legal Reporting and coordinate cross-functional IT activities, budgets, and timelines. Swiss residence is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong IT business analyst experience in the banking industry, especially for legal reporting applications.
• PM experience and ability to manage IT project lifecycles.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and data validation with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Team Lead of IT Legal Reporting and work on legal reporting application projects.
• Define Functional Design Specification.
• Manage vendor application relationships and execute database scripts to validate data integrity.
• Liaise with the business to provide IT guidance.
• Define project schedules and track budgets.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope, with change control.
• Provide guidance for business analysts, developers and testers.
• Identify risks and issues and define mitigation scenarios.
• Prepare and lead IT coordination meetings and provide IT input for business meetings.

Mission

The mission consists in performing the role of IT business analyst / project manager for a key legal reporting applications.

Challenge :

The candidate needs to have a strong IT business analyst experience in the banking industry, in particular for legal reporting applications.

Main responsibilities

• Reporting to the Team Lead of IT Legal Reporting, the consultant will work on legal reporting application projects.BA / PM ResponsibilitiesAnalyse regulation, business scenarios/cases and contribute to business / regulatory requirements definition.
• Define Functional Design Specification.
• Manage vendor application relationship (software package).Execute database scripts and queries (SQL) to validate data integrity and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with the business to provide guidance from an IT point of view.
• Define and follow-up on the overall (IT) project schedule(s) that capture cross functional involvements and determine the best course of action.
• Define / clarify the project(s) budgets ; track and manage project spent.
• Ensure on-time delivery, cost within budget, scope risks change control and communication for the whole IT project.
• Provide guidance for business analysts, Developers, and testers assigned to the projects and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify key risks and issues and define mitigation scenarios.
• Perform a timely reporting to IT management and bank stakeholder.
• Prepare and lead IT coordination meeting (IT Project Committee); provide input for business meetings from an IT point of view.
