Job summary

Elize Partners AG in Switzerland seeks two experienced IT Architects on a contract basis to shape the consolidation of the bank’s core banking systems, from the RfP through to the bank-wide target architecture.

You will develop the strategic application architecture for core banking and surrounding applications, ensure requirements are structured, build the reference architecture across domains, and define the implementation roadmap with dependencies. Vendor selection support is included.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as domain or enterprise architect in complex IT landscapes, especially core banking.
• Experience with core banking transformations across all project phases.
• Solid knowledge of TOGAF and modelling patterns; strong communication from C-level to implementation teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop the strategic application architecture for core banking and surrounding apps.
• Ensure business requirements are structured and properly challenged.
• Build reference architecture across all business domains.

For a leading Swiss bank, we are looking for two experienced IT Architects on a contract basis. As part of the platform programme, you will shape the consolidation of the bank’s core banking systems, from the RfP through to the bank-wide target architecture.

• Duration: until at least 31.03.2028 (15 months), 100%
• Working languages: German and English
• Develop the strategic application architecture for the core banking systems and the surrounding applications
• Make sure business requirements are structured and properly challenged
• Build the reference architecture across all business domains
• Define the implementation roadmap, including critical path, dependencies and exit points
• Support the vendor selection, including challenging costs

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a domain or enterprise architect in complex IT landscapes, especially core banking (accounts, securities, payments, financing)
• Experience with core banking transformations across all project phases
• Solid knowledge of TOGAF, capability based modelling and integration patterns
• Experience working in agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe)
• Broad knowledge of banking applications, IT solutions and reference architectures
• Confident communication from C-level to implementation teams
