Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx AG is seeking a talented Investment/Market Risk Analyst to join our international banking environment in Basel. You will support daily P&L control, brief management on profitability and risk exposures, and help enhance Middle Office processes.

You will also contribute to developing analytical products and dashboards while leveraging Python to drive data-based decision-making across Front Office and Banking Management.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Risk Analyst, Market Risk Analyst, Financial Modelling/Quant Analyst or similar.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives.
• Good understanding of valuation and profitability measurement concepts.
• Strong Python programming skills – essential.
• Experience analysing the business logic behind financial/business processes.

Aufgaben

• Support daily P&L control activities, ensuring issues are resolved with stakeholders.
• Provide clear management briefings on realised and anticipated profitability and key risk exposures.
• Review and enhance Middle Office business processes for efficiency and resilience.
• Support development, ownership and maintenance of analytical data products and dashboards.
