Zusammenfassung

SGI is seeking an experienced Investment & Risk Analyst to join our Middle Office Banking team on a 6-month contract starting October 2026 in Basel. The role emphasizes P&L control, risk analytics, and data-driven decision support, with collaboration across Front Office, Risk Management, and Finance.

The ideal candidate brings at least 4 years in investment/risk analysis, strong Python skills, and a solid grasp of derivatives and valuation concepts to deliver actionable insights and strengthen

Qualifikationen

4+ years of experience in Investment/Risk analysis or related fields.
Strong knowledge of financial instruments including derivatives.
Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and profitability concepts.
Python programming skills are essential.
Experience analyzing and improving business processes.

Aufgaben

Support daily P&L control activities and resolve issues with stakeholders.
Analyze profitability and risk exposures across the balance sheet and provide insights to management.
Prepare concise management briefings on realized and anticipated profitability and key risk metrics.
Review and enhance Middle Office processes to improve efficiency, controls, and resilience.
Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and data products to support data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with Front Office, Risk Management, and Finance stakeholders.
