Job summary

LGT Capital Partners AG in Switzerland seeks an Investment Professional for the global Hedge Funds manager selection team, based in Pfaeffikon or London. You will lead sourcing, due diligence, and Investment proposals for external managers and client mandates, interfacing with PM teams and clients.

The role requires 4–6 years in Hedge Funds manager selection, strong analytical skills, teamwork, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or economics.
• Progress toward CFA designation is strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of Hedge Funds manager selection experience.

Responsibilities

Job DescriptionLGT CP’s Liquid Markets Hedge Funds investment unit is managing portfolio solutions and customized mandates covering all relevant Hedge Fund sub-strategies. LGT CP is expanding their global Hedge Funds manager selection team with an additional Investment Professional based in either Pfaeffikon, Switzerland or London, UK. The team is in charge of all external manager allocations in public markets, whereby most of these allocations are implemented as segregated managed accounts by taking advantage of LGT CP’s proprietary platform.Role and ResponsibilitiesIntegral member of the global Hedge Funds manager selection team with the ability to lead the sourcing, screening, analysis and execution of investments;Perform in-depth investment due diligence, conduct analysis and modeling and lead investment proposals for the investment committee;Interact with portfolio management teams on multi-alternatives and Hedge Funds portfolios as well as client mandates on investment themes and other relevant investment content;Support and facilitate interaction with internal and external clients on periodic investment reviews and ad-hoc requests;Prepare market analysis / research relating to Hedge Funds and portfolios;Support BUD and fund-raising process related to Hedge Funds by attending client meetings selectively.RequirementsUniversity degree in finance/economics;Progress toward CFA designation is strongly preferred;A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in Hedge Funds manager selection, including systematic-/quantitative HFs-strategies;Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;Collaborative team player with sound business judgment and interpersonal skills;Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively;Willingness to travel frequently.What you can expectWe provide modern working conditions , including work-from-home options, flexible hours and a home office allowance to ensure staff members have a work environment equipped with the latest technology;A diverse culture founded on mutual respect, teamwork and appreciation awaits you at LGT Capital Partners.
