Zusammenfassung

Schroders is seeking an Associate / Investment Manager to manage European private equity secondaries. The role covers due diligence, sourcing, negotiating, executing and monitoring complex secondaries, with opportunities to present to the Investment Committee and develop market insights.

The candidate will conduct industry research, prepare client pitches, and participate in business development to grow Schroders Capital's European secondaries platform.

Qualifikationen

• 3–7 years of proven financial experience in private equity secondaries, direct private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
• Very good degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university.
• Excellent command of English; German language is a plus.

The Associate / Investment Manager is part of the team that manages European secondaries activities at Schroders Capital.

What you will do

• Conduct due diligence of European secondaries opportunities, with a focus on GP-led transactions and other complex transactions
• Play an active role in sourcing, due diligence, negotiating, executing and monitoring of secondaries transactions
• Make investment recommendations and present opportunities to the Investment Committee
• Conduct industry research and develop insights relevant for secondaries

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Proven financial experience: 3 - 7 years working in private equity secondaries, direct private equity, investment banking or corporate finance
• A very good degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university
• Excellent command of English, German language is a plus
