Audi Revolut F1 Team is offering an internship in Additive Manufacturing based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland. You will gain hands-on experience by working with experienced professionals on real projects that impact the team and future F1 components.

You will learn to execute projects, test materials, operate AM machines, and contribute to process improvements while developing CAD and data preparation skills in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Process Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative and lead projects.
• Basic knowledge of CAD (3DExperience or CATIA V5/V6) and data preparation (Magics).
• Knowledge of simulation tools or programming in Python is an advantage.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Execute projects in Additive Manufacturing, including simulation and compensation of 3D‑printed parts, evaluation of new materials, and development of post‑processing methods for surface treatment.
• Conduct material testing and analysis to monitor manufacturing processes, investigate failures, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support day‑to‑day activities within the AM department like development of parameters for additive manufacturing machines using various materials (metals focus / plastics).
• Assist operation of additive manufacturing machines and HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) system.
• Conduct research, analysis, or data entry as required.
• Collaborate with team members and attend meetings.
• Present findings or contribute to reports.
• Learn and apply new skills relevant to the role.

Your mission

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands‑on experience in Additive Manufacturing. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that make an impact.

• Responsible for executing projects in the field of Additive Manufacturing, including simulation and compensation of 3D‑printed parts, evaluation of new materials, and development of new post‑processing methods for surface treatment
• Conducting material testing and analysis to monitor manufacturing processes, investigate failures, and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Supporting day‑to‑day activities within the AM department like development of parameters for additive manufacturing machines using various materials (metals (focus) / plastics)
• Assisting on operation of the additive manufacturing machines and of the HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) system
• Conducting research, analysis, or data entry as required
• Collaborating with team members and attending meetings
• Presenting findings or contributing to reports
• Learning and applying new skills relevant to the role

Your profile

Eligibility Criteria

• Right to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA citizenship or Swiss work permit)
• Available for the full 11 months of the programme
• Available to start on 01.10.2026
