Job summary

CordenPharma International in Basel invites a proactive Marketing & Communications intern to join our Global Marketing & Communication team. You will support internal and external communication efforts, help craft materials, manage calendars, and assist with event planning in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, flexible hours aligned with studies, and exposure to global branding initiatives. English fluency is essential, German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of marketing and communication materials (presentations, newsletters, intranet content, social posts, event materials).
• Assist in maintaining content calendars across channels.
• Help plan and execute trade shows, events, and promotional activities.
• Update PowerPoint presentations in line with branding guidelines.
• Coordinate day-to-day marketing activities and project administration.
• Support reporting and analysis of communications initiatives.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance engagement and brand visibility.

What you can expect

Are you passionate about communication, branding, and digital marketing? Join our Global Marketing & Communication team and gain hands-on experience in an international pharmaceutical environment. You will actively contribute to internal and external communication initiatives while supporting projects that strengthen our brand, employee engagement, and market presence.

• Support the creation of marketing and communication materials, including presentations, newsletters, intranet content, social media posts, and event materials
• Assist in maintaining communication and content calendars across multiple channels

• Update and maintain PowerPoint presentations in line with corporate branding guidelines
• Help coordinate day-to-day marketing and communication activities, including content management and project administration
• Support reporting and analysis of communication and marketing initiatives
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance employee engagement, brand visibility, and communication effectiveness

To successfully master this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an advantage
• Creative, proactive, and eager to gain experience in a global marketing and communications environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
• Affinity for digital tools and willingness to learn new platforms quickly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and social media platforms is a plus
