Crypto Finance Group in Zurich is seeking an intern for its Risk Management team for a fixed two-month assignment. You will enter plausibility checks on audited financial statements, prepare assessment summaries in Word, and collaborate with the Risk team to ensure high-quality risk assessments.

The role requires current enrollment in a Finance/Accounting/Business Administration degree, strong Excel skills, and fluent German and English.

We are looking for an intern to join our Risk Management team. This internship is offered as a fixed-term assignment for a period of two months.

Responsibilities

• Enter and perform plausibility checks on audited financial statements within our internal rating model, in line with Moody's methodology
• Prepare assessment summaries for counterparties in Word, building on prior-year documentation and analyses
• Collaborate closely with the Risk team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all assessments
• Support ongoing quality assurance activities within the risk assessment process

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of balance sheet and financial statement analysis, gained through coursework or previous practical experience
• Understanding of common financial ratios, such as liquidity, capital adequacy, and refinancing metrics, is considered an advantage
• Highly diligent and structured working style, with a strong attention to detail and a low tolerance for errors, as the output directly supports risk-related decision-making
• Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas and financial data models
• Fluent written and spoken German and English, with the ability to prepare professional Word-based reports
• Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial information of counterparties
• Interest in cryptocurrency and financial market regulation is a plus, but not required
